The Battle Is In The Mind~Be Free Now!

Here is how I got the victory over depression and fear!

For years I struggled with fear, depression & negative thinking. When I learned the secret was simple and fixable, I set out to get the victory, and got it, completely.
How?

The Bible says in Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
So how do we renew our mind? It's simple, by reading the Word of God. The bible says that the Word of God is living and active and able to accomplish it's purpose. Basically, we need to reprogram our minds, in a way.
In Eph.5:25b-26

Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her  to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the Word.
So we need to renew and wash our minds & spirits through the Word.

Well this can take some time, I had to find a faster way.
I then discovered the "YouVersion Bible App", along with the "Audible app".With these two apps, you can listen to the bible anytime and anywhere. I was quickly on the road to recovery. I listened to it day and night, even while sleeping. Today, I can truly say that I am free from fear, depression and negative thinking. The Word of God set me free.

In the book Romans, we see that..."faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God." I heard a message once, where the minister was giving some scientific evidence on how our minds respond to audible words, etc.
Either in a positive or negative way, depending on what we are hearing. And that we can actually be changed and healed by hearing the right things. So I think we need to hear it, not just read it. You can be free too! Dive into the Word of God and renew your mind daily. Be renewed and refreshed. I know first hand, that listening to the bible works. Especially if you struggle in your mind! God is faithful to perform His Word in our lives. In Jesus's mighty name, be free!

Is 61:3 Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!

Blessings!

Release Yourself from Fear

Release yourself from the bondage of fear and worry. When your faith is in the Lord, He will carry you in the flow of His Spirit. But, you must not hang on to the things of the world or put your trust in natural things. Your faith is substantive and vital to your success in any endeavor, and you must put it to work by actual belief and not just hope. The Lord is looking for a people who have a strong and working faith whose actions demonstrate His kingdom. Lean on the Lord. Trust and Hope in Him. Put your daily thoughts on Jesus.

2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

~Creating a Beautiful Home~

Homemaking is an art!
It takes dedication, planning and creativity. It is fun, fulfilling and, yes, sometimes frustrating!
My number one rule for homemaking is, "keep it simple!" With several years under my belt as a faithful homemaker, I hope to share some of my secrets and tips on creating a beautiful & cozy home.

Whether you are married with children or single, having a comfortable, charming and unique home is not only satisfying, but an important part of womanhood.

We hope to inspire you, as well as, teach you, especially if you are new to the long lost art of homemaking. Follow me as we journey through life, one decor idea at a time, one chore at a time, one recipe at a time.

Get yourself a notebook and take notes. I like to use a three ring binder and add the subject tabs to divide it into categories. This is especially helpful for new homemakers and is a key ingredient to running a functional home.

If you are organized, you will feel less overwhelmed, and able to do much more than if you are stressed out.

Remember, we don't have to be super moms, and over achieving homemakers, in order to have a beautiful, organized and inviting home. So, rule number one is "keep it simple." Rule number two is "stay organized." We will discuss ways to get and stay organized for each and every room and task.

Please share this blog with your friends daughters and grand-daughters, and especially the domestically challenged ones. Check back often, as we are going to be adding new and exciting content.

I personally have not only done the time as a wife, mother, and homemaker, but I have also done the research. So, stick with me because I am going to show you how to do everything faster, better, cheaper and funner!
From finding those hard to find decor items for creating a cottage home, to finding the best deals on just about anything, to how to speed clean when dear mother in-law announces she is a block away and stopping by! And speaking of mother in-laws, we will have tips on managing them to! LOL!

Put on some coffee, or have a cup of your favorite tea. Grab your notebook and your favorite pen, relax and join in as we begin.
Blessings,
xoxo
